The Berwick Burrell Collection of fine and decorative art is not one to miss – an impressive array of artworks to suit every taste.
It’s made up of over 300 pieces including must-see oil paintings, watercolours, and drawings by masters including Degas, Boudin and Daubigny as well as locally-grown talents from Northumberland’s very own Joseph Crawhall.
Our eclectic collection includes objects as varied as Medieval finds from Berwick’s past, L.S Lowry’s Beach scene, Grace Darling’s weathervane, a Salmon fishing fording box with accompanying coble, a working telephone exchange as well as Samurai armour. We even have our very own dragon – fun for people of all ages!
Discover more about Northumberland’s impact on the world and its challenging history as a border territory.
With so much to see and experience, a trip to Berwick Museum and Art Gallery is sure to be a memorable day out for all.
