Our body themed loan box is based on careers and activities related to human biology in the life sciences sector. As well as contemporary examples we also make links to STEM heritage.
There are a variety of activities and resources linked to the Early Years and Primary curriculum. Our activities are designed to be cross-curriculuar and will incorporate a range of subject content from science to history and even music and dance!
Highlights include human and animal Xrays complete with an A4 light box to view them, foam skeleton jigsaws, models of body parts including a mini skeleton, torso and teeth, and a selection of plush microbes, books and card based games.
This box is great for students from Early Years up to KS2. The anatomical models are fantastic for demonstrating how our bodies work and there is a selection of books aimed at different age ranges. You know your students best but please be aware of that some items and books may be more suitable for a particular age group than others.
