You can do this in a number of ways:
Make a donation of money
You can now donate money online using the secure form on our Make a Donation page.
Each of our museums also has a donation box and we always welcome any cash you can spare during your visit. If you would like to make a larger donation and you pay tax, you can make your gift go even further by giving us a call and gift aiding your contribution.
Please call 01670 624455 and one of the Admin Team will be very happy to help.
Leave a gift in your will
If you are thinking ahead and making plans for your estate, Museums Northumberland would be honored to receive a bequest.
Please speak to your solicitor in the first instance to make any arrangements.
Buy a tally on the Woodhorn Tally Wall
Every miner would carry a tally – a small metal tag stamped with a unique number identifying him.
If you would like to remember a special person or event, please consider buying a ‘tally’ for the Tally Wall at Woodhorn Museum.
Each ‘tally’ which looks like an original coal miner’s tally, has space for a name, dates and a few words and they are mounted on a wall close to the entrance at Woodhorn Museum for all visitors to see.
You can purchase your tally online or you can download a copy of the form, complete it and return it to the museum.
To find out more about the tally wall take a look at the Tally Wall page.
Donate an object to Museums Northumberland’s Collections
If you have an item you think might be of interest to one of our museums, we would love to hear from you.
Please get in touch with us before you bring it in.
We’d like you to provide as much information as you can about the item and maybe even provide a photograph first.
You can find out more information about how to do this on our Donate an Object or Collection page.
