‘A Sea of Red Dancers’ will see Woodhorn Museum transformed by an emotional contemporary dance in a celebration of the poppy as the symbol of remembrance, performed by ex-service men & woman and community dancers who live in the North East, set to a specially commissioned score – ‘Sacrification’, for solo trombone by American trombonist, band leader, and composer Jason Holcomb. The dance is led by Eliot Smith Dancer’s in this remembrance tribute to those currently serving in the Armed Forces, veterans, and their families and dependants.
