We are delighted to be welcoming bugs n stuff back to Woodhorn Museum during the Easter holidays.
bugs n stuff was set up to give children and adults the opportunity to have close contact with, and learn more about, the creatures of the insect, amphibian and reptile world. Guy Tansley brings great enthusiasm and knowledge to his workshops across the Northeast.
Be amazed by the bug world! Try and spot the stick insect and praying mantis amongst the leaves, see giant tarantulas, insects, frogs, lizards and beetles. Guess the number of legs on a millipede and find out what a snake feels like!
During timed talks, visitors will be allowed to touch and hold some of the creatures, making it an exciting event to remember!
As with all our workshops, talks and displays, we always aim to be educational, informative and great fun!
