Get creative this half term and make your own regal headwear in this crown-making workshop, inspired by the Queen’s Diamond Diadem.

Get creative this half term and make your own regal headwear in this crown-making workshop, inspired by the Queen’s Diamond Diadem.

The bejewelled crown, worn by Queen Elizabeth II during the precession to her coronation, was originally made for King George IV in 1820, the same year that the Union Chain Bridge was built.

Come along to find out more and make your own shiny headdress out of colourful craft items and glitter! Book a free Family Table ticket below (1 Family Table ticket grants access for up to 2 adults and 3 children).

Please be advised that, although the workshop is free, entrance into Berwick Museum and Art Gallery is still subject to normal admissions charges. You can buy an Annual Pass online before your visit or on arrival. Adults £5, Concessions £4 and under 16s free. If you are an English Heritage Member, you can also visit for free.

Our Family workshops last approximately one hour. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. As this workshop includes small parts, it is not recommended for children younger than 5.

Spaces are limited and booking is essential. To book, please visit https://www.wegottickets.com/event/547498
