Have a go at paper engineering this half term with this family challenge, inspired by landmarks named after the Queen.
Find out more about structures such as the Queen Elizabeth II bridge in Newcastle, a 353-metre-long truss bridge carrying electrified Metrocars, between Newcastle and Gateshead.
Design and make your own jubilee-inspired structures out of paper with an activity devised by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). Book a free Family Table ticket below (1 Family Table ticket grants access for up to 2 adults and 3 children).
Please be advised that, although the workshop is free, entrance into Berwick Museum and Art Gallery is still subject to normal admissions charges. You can buy an Annual Pass online before your visit or on arrival. Adults £5, Concessions £4 and under 16s free. If you are an English Heritage Member, you can also visit for free.
Our Family workshops last approximately one hour. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. As this workshop includes small parts, it is not recommended for children younger than 5.
