From Friday to Sunday (13th to 15th September) Berwick Museum & Art Gallery will be participating in The Common Room’s touring Graft & Glory exhibition. Come along and see the museum for yourself!
Join us on Saturday 14th of September at 2.30pm for a free lecture about “Bonnie” George Elliot and his friendship with Bram Stoker by Dr Bill Lancaster.
Don’t miss a special exhibition of Egyptian artefacts from the collection for the occasion – including some funerary figurines (Ushabti), an Eye of Horus, and faience beads.
You will also be able to see the impressive Lindisfarne Telephone Exchange that Elliot’s company invented.
