Join social documentary photographer Mik Critchlow for a very special online talk.
We hope you can join us for this very special online talk. Social documentary photographer Mik Critchlow (b.1955) will take you on a journey through ‘Coal Town’, a remarkable photography project that spans over four decades, through which Mik continues to document his home town of Ashington.
Hear about how Mik started out in photography and the stories of the people and places in the photographs in the exhibition.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the talk, which promises to be an inspirational look back at life in South East Northumberland.
This event will be hosted on zoom – register on the link below. Registered participants will be emailed a link to join ahead of the event. Registration will close on Thursday 24th February at 12noon.
This Museums Northumberland event is hosted by The Bigger Picture and supported by Arts Council England and Northumberland County Council.
