Join us for a special online performance by Paul Smith (Maxïmo Park) to commemorate the annual Northumberland Miners’ Picnic

Woodhorn Museum will broadcast a solo performance by Paul Smith (Maxïmo Park) to commemorate the Northumberland Miners’ Picnic

The free-to-view online solo performance by Paul Smith will feature original songs as well as traditional and contemporary songs connected to the North East’s coal mining heritage.

The recording will also feature a selection of images, generously supplied by photographer Mik Critchlow. We are currently working with Mik to develop a new exhibition of his work which is due to be presented at Woodhorn Museum in late 2021. You can find out more about Mik’s work and see more of his photography by visiting his website here: www.mikcritchlow.com

This recorded performance is free to watch. It will be available to watch on the Woodhorn Museum Facebook Page and the Museums Northumberland website.

You will not be asked to submit any bank details or register any personal information to watch this performance.

The performance lasts approximately 1 hour.
