Every Wednesday of the Northumberland School Holidays, join our Learning Team and take part in these free, family friendly activities throughout the day.

11am – 11.45am: Bug and Bloom Hunt
Go on a bug and bloom safari around Woodhorn and see what wildlife you can find. Our Learning team will help identify your discoveries. Please meet at the Pit Yard Play Area at 11am. In the event of very bad weather an alternative ‘Woodhorn Wildflowers’ craft activity will be provided.
12noon – 12.45pm: Bug Mask Making
Make your own bug mask and imagine life as a tiny insect! Our Learning Team will be on hand to help you create your mask. Drop-in craft activity taking place upstairs in the museum.
1.30pm – 2.15pm: Bug & Bloom Hunt

‘Wild Wednesdays‘ are free as part of our Annual Pass where adults pay once, and kids go free. Donations welcome. You can buy your Annual Pass admission online before your visit or when you arrive at the museum. Please arrive in plenty of time so you don’t miss the start of the activity.
